- Or you can sandblast ( or prefereably bead blast) them and paint them with an aluminum paint as a lot of restorers seem to do. You have to paint them with some clear at least or they won't stay very

- I got some aluminum colored spraty paint from Easwood Company Mark... I had real good luck sandblasting the swingarms and painting with Duplicolor Engine Enamel (500 degree) Cast Coat Aluminum, DE 16

- Thanks for the reply. I've actually got the kit to completely restore the 76 already except for sending off the headrests to be chromed. I also have some 70 seat frames that are ripe for restoration.
