Dan, You're right, with aluminum heads it weights only 66 lbs more. However, I suggest using a Jeep Mailster rear axel which has posi-tract, a 3:03 ratio and is the same width as an MG B. Don't have

Also consider the Jeep Mailster. It has a 3:03 ratio, positraction, does NOT have to be narrowed, but it does have a 5 lug bolt pattern. I believe it's a Dana 44 rear axle. Not sure. Jim
