Ok here's what's happening... rebuilt the engine last winter, when I went to put the distributor back in it wouldn't line up right and would fit 180 degrees off. Finally I got it to go in the correct

I'm turning the shaft/the rotor inside of the distributor, it locks right in the one direction, but not the other way. I can feel the slots where it goes kind of catch, but they don't want to go in.
