I have to agree with Ric here , if installed properly, nobody can tell the difference and they will not crack. The old dash takes a bit of time to prep and you need to find a few innovative clamping

I had the same problem with the exact same setup (copper gasket, ARP bolts). I pulled the head, put on a new copper gasket and torqued the bolts to 55 lbs this time with the special grease. So far s
