I agreee with Herb, 190 deg. is fine and the drop in oil pressure suggests bearings to me..I have a similar scenario...starts at 60-70psi (~40-50 @ idle) then drops to 25-40 at temp (10-15psi @ idle)

I believe that you can also shorten and respline a morris minor axle to fit a spridget, but I would think it's probably more hassle than it's worth. I suspect they're softer metal too.... Andy

I didn't have any trouble bleeding my clutch. I'm glad I did it before I dropped the new engine in though. Had the girlfriend in the cockpit pushing the pedal on command (got her trained you see...)
