I'm in the Milwaukee hemisphere and have both their 16" electric chainsaw
and their 10" electric pole saw. I've found that I use the pole saw about
90% of the time. I had 85 70' high pine trees that lined my driveway. The
power company removed the top 50' of the trees and left me with the lower
20'. I had to de-limb the trees with the pole saw and then had a logger
cut down the 20' logs. The pole saw worked unbelievably well for this
task. I even added an extra 3' extension to the pole saw at times to give
me up to a 9' reach. Standing on a 10' ladder let me reach the top of the
trees.

I also use the pole saw for all of my annual storm clean up work and it
does great even with logs up to about 8" in diameter. The only issue I
ever had was with their 12amp hour battery. After a couple of years it
failed, they sent a replacement that lasted a year and then they stopped
responding to me about it. I now use 5amp hour and 4amp hour batteries for
both saws.
